About the firm

A serious lawyer.A straight answer.

David Laurence Altman has practiced law since 1971. Trained at UC Law in San Francisco, admitted in California the year of his graduation, and admitted in Utah in 2011 when the St. George office opened. The California license remains active. The Utah license is active emeritus.

He has served as a California Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. The view from the bench shapes how a case is tried from the table. Courts know the firm. Local prosecutors know the firm. That history is the difference when the call goes to voicemail at five o'clock and the matter is real.
